Let me guess.... Ryan you don't approve of what has been going on for the past few years. And Bush is not your man.
What if Postmillenialism is true and Jesus is using this globalization to begin His reign?
I don't buy it either. That is why I am Amil. His Kingdom is not of this world.

Intelligent post! It took most of my brainpower to read this post and half-way understand it! You must have some major thinking power in your head! haha
So...is this basically saying we're coming down to a one-world government? And it's going to happen in "segments"?
How long do you say until we come down to the first "step" of all of this?

Randy,
How did you guess that? ;-)

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
—Romans 8:31-32
Being God's flock, we should not get overwhelmed by this present age. It's fleeting. Life is a vapor. God is sovereign. If anything, the sin of the world and political corruption ought to turn us to Christ, and encourage us to take an eternal perspective.

Yes, essentially, but I would say it already is happening, and has been happening for more than a century. The first stepping stone was the League of Nations which failed. The second was the post-WWII order created around the United Nations and the Brettons Woods Conference. The idea of world government is ancient however. Powerful men have long had the ambition for it.

The globalists are intent on making some big steps with the North American Union in the next decade, and putting a skeleton together under the auspices of the Free Trade Area of the Americas, and the
Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America. I could only speculate how it unfolds. I hope their plans are foiled and their is American grassroots political resistance.
Bear in mind, it took over fifty years to get the European Union where it is today. Europe started as an economic bloc without trade barriers between member states, and gradually they integrated politically forming customs union, and eventually establishing a common currency.
Our U.S. government's failure to address our immigration-border problem will likely expedite the process along and will gradually marginalize the conservative demographic most likely to put up resistance. We will be outnumbered if it goes unabated.
We shouldn't meet these developments with resignation however, though sometimes it seems irresitable and inevitable.
