June 15: Today in History - The Magna Charta
Today, June 15, 2006, is the 790th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta which took place at Runnymede, England on June 15, 1215. Please see my post on Christian Covenanter, simply entitled "The Magna Charta" for more information.

hey ryan! thanks for the info on the magna charta. i did some reading on it and found it very interesting. it's such a shame that we fail to pass on/teach some of our rich and valuable history. many times we could save ourselves from some damaging consequences, if we'd only "learn" from history. anyway, i better stop here before i start ranting.
thanks for your kind comments...i have always counted it a joy and a privilege to be a parent. as always it is only thru God that i am able to show them love and wisdom for their lives. my desire for them is serve God and others, to be real, to enjoy the journey, to save themselves physically and emotionally for the person that God has for them, to keep perspective and balance, learn from others' mistakes, doing things with a purpose....and as i look at that list i KNOW that it is impossible without God's intervention.
