Fulfilling the vision of the Voice of the Martyrs' founder, Richard Wurmbrand, a Romanian Christian minister who spent a total of fourteen years imprisoned in communist Romania, this extension ministry of VOM, Bibles Unbound, is spreading the Gospel with the help of Christian supporters in the West. Here is a message from a Bibles Unbound official:

I am in awe today of the amazing things that God has done through Bibles Unbound. If you have been on the BU Web site today, you have no doubt noticed we passed 100,000 New Testaments mailed out by Bibles Unbound participants. 100,000!

Thank you for your involvement and willingness to sacrificially give. Your gifts placed God’s Word in the hands of people who have never seen it before and who otherwise might never have this opportunity.

I have to admit our faith was little, but God’s provision has been big. I remember in February, when we launched Bibles Unbound, just hoping we could get a few hundred people enrolled. Our goal for the first six months was to get up to 5,000 New Testaments each month. With the action of generous people like you, God blew the doors off our feeble expectations! This month we will mail almost three times that number! And BU is still growing!

Thanks to the diligent work and support of Christians in China, Colombia, Egypt, and Indonesia, who are gathering names and addresses, you have sent 100,000 messages of hope, love and joy into these restricted nations. I can think of no greater gift. I can think of no better partnership between the free and the persecuted church. We give all praise to God, Who has allowed us to send help and encouragement at a time like this, when the free world is trying to convince us there is no God and the oppressed world is praying there is one.

Join us in celebration and praise to God on this milestone day. Invite your Christian friends to join you, as together we begin to send out the next 100,000 New Testaments, working toward the goal of delivering one million Bibles per year into the hands of people who need the Hope and Love only God’s Word can bring.
